Send them to Tattered Reads and earn store credit toward your next cozy read.

This product does not ship a physical item. Customers will mail books to us. Each Buy Back order covers up to 10 books per shipment.

Our Buy Back Program is a simple way to refresh your shelves while keeping great stories circulating in our community.

📦 How It Works

1. Purchase the Tattered Reads Buy Back Program

2. Ship up to 10 books to us (customer-paid shipping)

3. Once your books arrive and are approved:

   • Earn $2 store credit per accepted book

   • As a thank-you for covering shipping, you’ll receive an extra $6 bonus store credit once your books arrive and are approved.

4. Store credit is emailed to you and never expires

Publication Requirement

• Books must be published within the last 10 years

Condition Guidelines
Books must be Like New or Very Good condition.

We cannot accept:

• Ex-library books

• Water damage

• Highlighting or annotations

• Smoke damage

• Pet odor

Books that do not meet these guidelines will not receive store credit and will not be returned.

💰 Store Credit Breakdown

• $2 store credit per approved book

• +$6 bonus credit once books arrive and pass inspection

• Store credit is calculated on up to 10 approved books per Buy Back order.

Example:
10 approved books → $20 credit + $6 bonus = $26 store credit

• Your shipping address will be provided after checkout

⏳ Processing Time

• Books are reviewed within 3–5 business days of arrival

• Store credit is emailed once inspection is complete

• If you’d like to send more than 10 books, please submit a separate Buy Back order.

**All buy backs are subject to inspection and approval at our discretion; store credit is issued only for books that meet program guidelines.
